LOAD-BEARING Option

Load-bearing Walls with Sismiclima or Thermo Blocks, without Reinforced Concrete Frame

With SismiClima blocks, it's possible to create standard load-bearing walls without the need for reinforced concrete reinforcements or thermal cladding. This construction system combines the excellent mechanical resistance characteristics typical of autoclaved aerated concrete with high energy performance, achieving a thermal transmittance value of 0.20 W/m²K with a thickness of 40 cm.

The SismiClima block wall is designed for constructing compact and regular buildings, both in plan and elevation, with 2 to 3 floors, according to national regulations. Its density of 350 kg/m³ allows it to achieve a thermal conductivity value of λ = 0.084 W/mK, thus combining the mechanical strength of the block with its excellent lightness and thermal insulation properties.

After experimentation conducted in collaboration with Eucentre, Ytong has developed and certified a kit for constructing load-bearing walls subject to seismic actions, allowing the achievement of the European Technical Assessment ETA-17/0365, in accordance with EN 771-4, Eurocode 6, and the NTC 2018 standard.

PARTITION WALL Option

Partition Walls with Climagold or Climaplus Blocks

The Ytong solution allows for the creation of external walls with high energy-saving performance even with single-layer walls, eliminating the need for external insulation through cladding systems.

The Ytong single-layer solution involves the installation of thin-joint blocks with a thermal transmittance of up to U = 0.15 W/m²K, without the need for additional insulation. Thermal bridges around the load-bearing structure are corrected using Multipor mineral panels, ensuring the continuity of the high insulation standards and breathability of autoclaved aerated concrete.

As a result, a high-performing wall is achieved, offering additional benefits of acoustic insulation, vapor permeability, air-tightness, fire resistance, intrusion security, eco-sustainability, and durability of the facade. The single-layer wall solution also ensures reduced installation times, excellent site cleanliness, and minimal waste.
